On Monday 30 April 2018, Wilko Jonker died after a long illness at the age of 58. He leaves behind a wife and two children. The Dutch military aviation and plastic modeling were his hobby and on this website he shared all the knowledge he has collected over the years. His hobby has been able to distract him from the persistent disease in his body until the last week of his life. The contacts with other hobbyists were a major support for him.

This website will be maintained by different people for as long as possible, so that other enthusiasts can continue to benefit from extensive content.

Morane-Saulnier MS AR-35EP2

History

The Morane-Saulnier AR was a trainer which was produced ​​in France during and after the First World War. The type was developed from the Morane-Saulnier LA and also a parasol-wing monoplane with two open cockpits in tandem.

The construction of the hull was a wooden frame, covered with linen, the front part was covered with metal.

Large-scale production began just after the armistice, the type designation MS.35, and a number of subtypes mainly differed from each other from the motor used.

Although the Morane-Saulnier was hoping for the civilian market, most of the devices were sold to the French army. There are about 400 pieces were built in total.

Many aircraft were sold after their military careers.
