Morane-Saulnier MS AR-35EP2
History
The Morane-Saulnier AR was a trainer which was produced in France during and after the First World War. The type was developed from the Morane-Saulnier LA and also a parasol-wing monoplane with two open cockpits in tandem.
The construction of the hull was a wooden frame, covered with linen, the front part was covered with metal.
Large-scale production began just after the armistice, the type designation MS.35, and a number of subtypes mainly differed from each other from the motor used.
Although the Morane-Saulnier was hoping for the civilian market, most of the devices were sold to the French army. There are about 400 pieces were built in total.
Many aircraft were sold after their military careers.
