History

The Gotha WD.11 (WD = Wasser Doppeldecker) was designed as a torpedo-bomber.

In fact it was a development of the Gotha WD.7, but it was much larger and had more powerful engines. The pilot and the observer/gunner sat in a small fuselage in open cockpits. The undercarriage consisted of two floats.

Twelve examples were built.
