History
The Fokker S.III was a trainer, in which the instructor and the student were sitting behind each other.
This was unlike its predecessor, the Fokker S.II.
The S.III could be equipped with a large range of engines, such as a 120 hp Mercedes, a Curtiss OX-5, a 200 hp Renault or a 200 hp Wright.
The S.III made its maiden flight on December 12, 1922.
